This section describes how to view and/or modify the Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) settings on the Sun Fire X4170, X4270, and X4275 Servers. The BIOS Setup utility reports system information and can be used to configure the server BIOS settings. BIOS has a Setup utility stored in the BIOS flash memory. The configured data is provided with context-sensitive Help and is stored in the system's battery-backed CMOS RAM. If the configuration stored in the CMOS RAM is invalid, the BIOS settings default to the original state specified at the factory. The Mother of All Demos

The Mother of All Demos  is a name that describes the demonstration  Douglas Engelbart  with the assistance of  Stewart Brand , and others gave on December 9,  1968  at the Fall Joint Computer Conference in San Francisco. The 90-minute live demonstration is considered the all-time greatest because of its influence on what we now think of as a computer. In the demonstration, Douglas used a workstation on  NLS  with  windows ,  hypertext , graphics, command input,  videoconferencing ,  word processing , dynamic file linking, and a collaborative real-time editor all accessed using a  mouse . Plug The  plug  is part of a cable that connects to a port. The plug always connects to something else (e.g., a jack or port). For example, the most common plug is the power plug that connects your computer, monitor, and other devices to a power source. The picture is a desktop power cord in the United States with a  male plug end  that connects to the  wall socket  and the  female plug end  that connects to the computer or monitor.
